Big Development!
This morning at 6:40am I sat up from the pillow by myself twice! Mom went to get Dad to show him, but I am not a circus act so I wouldn't do it anymore. Ha! Also, I was a little upset with Mom because yesterday she dressed us in matching outfits and went to the mall. How humiliating!
Colts are 4-0
In case you missed the game yesterday - The Colts are 4 and 0! Dallas Clark was on fire! You may think that a three month old wouldn't be interested in football, but I love watching the game on Daddy's huge t.v. I remember watching my team win the Superbowl from Mommy's tummy. Go Colts!
**NOTE TO JOURNAL READERS** Originally I had 5 and 0, but a diligent Colts hater wrote to inform me that they are only 4 and 0 so I apologize for the mistake. Be sure to tune in next week when my team really IS 5 and 0. Go Colts!
Go Team Vandygriff!

In case you haven't seen me
Here are some close ups in case you haven't been by lately. I am really big on smiling and talking now. I have a lot to say and I really like to try to say "hi." I have also grown a neck! I love to practice holding my enormous knoggin up. I also like to practice sitting upright. I haven't quite grown into my big eyes yet, but I'm getting there!
English Lady
This is my Uncle Gavin's Stepmum June. I met her last weekend and I pretty much fell in love. She is very little - just like me! Also she is so nice and her accent is really cool! I wish she didn't live so far away in England because she is really great! Next time she comes, we'll have a spot o tea and a bit of a chat.

Uncle Vinnie
Well Uncle Vinnie was over last night and he gave me some guff for not updating my journal enough so I made sure to wake up early to update. I think he must be some kind of neat freak or something because he kept trying to get everyone to turn on the vaccuum. Weird... Anyway, Grandma sent a CD of pictures from my Baptism Weekend so here they are!
Baptized!
I had another busy weekend last week. Mom, Dad and I went back up to South Bend. We stayed with Papa John and Nana on Friday night, and then on Saturday we went to Grandma's. Grandma had an open house so I could meet all my cousins. There were LOTS of kids there. I got to meet the newest family member Malachi(I'm not the youngest!). He's a cute kid. I remember that age - he has so much to learn... HA! Owen was there, and Jacob, Jayden, Kileigh, Brady, Allison and lots of neighborhood kids. I also got to meet Georgie - what a great dog! Sunday was a BIG day for me. I went to church and got baptized! Mom cried more than I did. I think mommies cry just as much as babies. Mine cries everytime I do something new. Geez! Uncle Scott and Aunt Marianne were my Godparents. I am lucky to have such great Godparents to be examples for me. Here are some pictures from the big day.

2nd generation of TROUBLE!
These are my buddies Vann Opperman and Jared Koski. Our Daddies get into lots of trouble together. Today, our mommies got us together. Vann is the oldest so he will have to sneak us into the good Disney movies. Jared is the youngest, and I am right in the middle. Vann is a Cubs fan like me. Jared slept most of the time while I was there. He is only two weeks old! He weighed the same as I did when I was born. What a cool guy. I can't wait til we can all play together again. See you soon dudes!
What a weekend!

To Grandmother's House we go!
I had my first road trip without Mommy sitting next to me in the back seat. I did really well! Here are some pictures of me with Grandma and Grandpa. I also got to see my Oma and Opa. I had a fantastic time. Got lots of sleep, and ate so much! Grandma was worried about me missing my swing, but since she and grandpa held and cuddled me so much, I didn't miss it at all! Thanks for a great weekend!
Not quite yet...

Are these people really my relatives??
On Sunday I went to the Vandygriff Family Reunion. For me it was a "union" because I'd never met any of those people! Uncle Scott and Papa John and Mama Chris were there. Mama Chris worked her magic and put me right to sleep when I got fussy. Here's a picture of me and my Papa John. My shirt says "Are these people really my relatives?" I was a big hit! I won The youngest member of the family award this year. I can't wait to see them all again!
Uncle Phil!
The best part of last week was on Thursday when Uncle Phil came to see me! He came all the way from Canada on a plane. I really really like my Uncle Phil. He has great hair that cracks me up every time I see it. We hung out alot. He taught me some great tricks too. Mommy tried to unteach a few of them, but don't worry Unc. I've got em down! Here are some pictures of my time with Uncle Phil.
Practice makes perfect
2 Months Old!
Sorry I haven't been writing lately. I've been pretty busy. I had my 2 month birthday. It was the WORST day of my life! I had to go see Dr. Jim and he caused me a lot of pain. Mommy and I were both crying. I don't know about that guy... Anyway - the good news is that I've grown another inch to 23" and I gained another 2.6 pounds this month. That puts me at 11.8lbs and it's a good thing because I could take the higher dosage of Children's Tylenol and man did I need it! Here's a picture of me at two months. I haven't learned how to hold up two fingers just yet. Maybe I'll have that down for 2 years.
